Recently, the Fujian Provincial Drug Administration announced the first batch of results for the extended inspection of Traditional Chinese Medicine GAP. The lack of transparency and the inconsistent quality in the planting and processing oftraditional Chinese medicinal materials have long been challenges hindering the high-quality development of the Traditional Chinese Medicine industry. To address this issue and ensure that the sources oftraditional Chinese medicinal materials are traceable and trustworthy—thus reinforcing the product quality assurance line—GanoHerb utilizes digital means to comprehensively promote the establishment of a traceability system for the entire organic Reishi industry chain.
According to reports, GanoHerb has developed a “standardized, regulated, and informatized” traceability system that covers the entire lifecycle of Reishi products. Leveraging three national-level research and innovation platforms and two academician cooperation platforms, GanoHerb, in 2019, collaborated with the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciencesand other research institutions to undertake the first national key R&D plan focusing on the modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically for Reishi.
